Forbah Sandra is a Cameroonian ocean literacy enthusiast, a nature lover and youth empowerment advocate. She is the Founder of BRIDGES (Building Resilient Individuals, Developing Generational Environmental Sustainability), a 2024 National Geographic Young Explorer, Early Career ocean Professionals (ECOP Cameroon) communications coordinator and Environmental Educator. Her initiative stems from her first hand experience in the lack of environmental awareness and education courses or capacity building experience from the school system in her community and she seeks to bridge the knowledge gaps by taking to classroom and communities the knowledge, capacities and opportunities exploitable for young people at an early stage of their education - building stewards for environmental resilience.

Foga Agbetossou is a young Togolese with a deep love for marine environment and biodiversity. With a strong passion for ocean conservation, he is the Leader of the Sustainable Ocean Alliance – Togo hub, a group of young ocean leaders dedicated to restoring the health of our oceans through ocean and climate education, ecosystems restoration, capacity building opportunities, and the development of ocean-centered partnerships. In addition to his passion for marine conservation, he is also involved in coastal erosion research, passionate about developing innovative nature-based solutions for the well-being of coastal communities. Foga holds a Master’s degree in Oceanography and Limnology, is fluent in both French and English, and is always eager to embrace new discoveries and experiences.

Johanès is an oceanographer with a specialization in the sustainable management of marine biodiversity and coastal environments. He is deeply passionate about enhancing the resilience of marine ecosystems and promoting the well-being of coastal communities. He holds a Master's degree in Marine Sciences from the Institut Halieutique et des Sciences Marines (IH.SM) at the University of Toliara. Since 2018, Johanès has worked closely with local communities and key stakeholders along the coasts of Madagascar’s southwest region and northern region, contributing to the sustainable management of marine resources. His expertise spans marine ecology, small-scale fisheries, the development and assessment of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs), community. Additionally, Johanès has a strong interest in ocean literacy, nature-based solution and policy frameworks. On April 2023, Johanès have been starting a new position as a Programme Manager Marine Junior at C3 Madagascar.
